Ministry of Environmental Protection is working on Climate Strategy and Action plan, through a project financed by IPA 2014 program.
For the purposes of future Strategy, Strategic Environmental Assessment (SEA) is being prepared, based on Decision published in Official Gazette of Republic of Serbia, number 62/18. Institute for architecture and urbanism of Serbia (IAUS) is chosen for preparing a report on SEA, in line with the Law. IAUS has started the preparation of the report, starting points, general and specific goals, choosing of indicators and methodology of strategic assessment have been made so far.
In preparation phase, in line with EU good practice and based on current results of the Project, a Scoping Report has been prepared, which is a basis for the Report on strategic environmental assessment. The Scoping report has been presented on 11 March 2019 in the promises of IAUS.
Based on this, we are announcing that the Draft Scoping Report is available on the link.
We will publish in due time information on the draft SEA Report as well as the process of public hearing, based on Law on strategic environmental assessment. The Serbian version of the Scoping Report will be available during the first week of April.
Public hearing on Draft Scoping Report will be organised during mid-April. An information on exact date and place will be available on our webpage.
