Under the Paris Agreement’s Enhanced Transparency Framework, Serbia is expected to submit Biennial Transparency Reports (BTRs), which will serve as the primary vehicle for reporting on greenhouse gas inventories, progress in implementing and achieving nationally determined contributions, adaptation actions, and support provided and received. The preparation and submission of BTRs are governed by decisions adopted under the Paris Agreement (18/CMA.1). BTRs are to be submitted at least every two years and are subject to technical expert review and facilitative, multilateral consideration of progress to strengthen transparency and build trust among Parties.
