The Ministry of Environmental Protection, with financial support of the French Development Agency (AFD), invites the Local Self-Governments to apply for participation in the Cities and Climate Change Program.
The program will provide support, through a technical assistance, to two pilot local self-governments for the preparation of a Climate Action Plan (either climate adaptation action plan or climate mitigation action plan). A diagnosis on municipal finance to strengthen climate investment at local level will be conducted, through the same technical assistance, in parallel of the preparation of the Climate Action Plan.
The call is open to Local Self-Governments with population above 40 000 inhabitants.
How to apply?
- Local self-governments with a population above 40 000 inhabitants are kindly invited to confirm their interest (Appendix 1 – Letter of Interest) and fill the application form (Appendix 2 – Application form)
- The documents shall be sent by email to Jelena.Perovic@ekologija.gov.rs by the 28th of September.
The public call is organized through a competitive process and the selection of the two pilot local self-governments will be made through the evaluation of the submitted application forms.
