Biography
Ms. Gamze Çelikyılmaz has 16 years of international and national experience working on climate change issues including various aspects such as low-carbon development, EU climate change policies&legislation, impacts, vulnerabilities and adaptation, national GHG inventories, international climate change negotiations, covering Central East Europe, South-East Europe to Middle East & North Africa countries. She is also a UNFCCC accredited Expert Reviewer for National Communications and Biennial Reports, and lead author of Turkey’s 7th National Communication. Currently, she is a senior climate change policy expert to Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) Regional Office for Europe and Central Asia. She has several international publications such as “Climate Finance Toolkit” for Europe and Central Asia Region that has been published in 2021.
