Biography
Mr. Gonçalo Cavalheiro is a climate change consultant. He holds a graduate degree in International Relations and has over 21 years of professional experience on all aspects of climate change policy, both related to adaptation and mitigation, providing assistance to countries in Europe, Africa, Latin America and South East Asia. He has extensive experience working in Serbia: he provided technical assistance to the Ministry of Environmental Protection in the preparation of the Low Carbon Development Strategy with Action Plan, as well as on the preparation of Programme of Air Protection of the Republic of Serbia for the period 2022-2030 with Action Plan. In collaboration with UNDP, Gonçalo Cavalheiro prepared a report on a Roadmap for Just Transition in Serbia.
