Under the UNFCCC, Serbia, as a non‑Annex I Party, is expected to submit Biennial Update Reports (BURs), which provide more frequent information on national greenhouse gas emissions and removals, as well as updates on mitigation actions, support needs and received support. The submission of BURs is guided primarily by decision 2/CP.17 and related decisions, which request non‑Annex I Parties to submit their first BUR by December 2014 and subsequently every two years.
